The fine print
Refund policy
Where refunds apply, and where they don’t.
Why digital downloads work differently
For most online purchases, UK law gives you 14 days to cancel and get your money back, no reason needed. Instant digital downloads are the exception: I can ask you to give that right up in return for getting the file straight away rather than waiting out the 14 days first. See terms of sale for exactly how that’s asked for.
Once you’ve agreed to that at checkout and downloaded the guide, change-of-mind refunds don’t apply, the same way they wouldn’t on a physical order you’d already opened and used.
What’s still covered
Giving up the cooling-off period only covers change of mind. It doesn’t touch your normal consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the file is corrupted, you were sent the wrong guide, or it’s genuinely not what the product page described, that’s a fault, not a change of mind, and you’re entitled to a fix or a refund.
If something’s gone wrong with your order
Email nic@allcheckedin.online with your order details and what’s wrong. I read every one of these myself and I’ll sort it directly, there’s no form to fill in or ticket queue to wait in.
